Research Coordinator, GEMINI
My role with the GEMINI team:
I am a Research Coordinator II for the GEMINI team. The main project that I am coordinating is Using artificial intelligence to identify and predict delirium among hospitalized medical patients. I support day-to-day research operations, including research ethics applications, assisting with study protocols and ensuring study milestones are met!
My past experience and accomplishments:
My past experiences include my Master’s thesis project, which investigated the prevalence and determinants of physical activity among ovarian cancer survivors. After completing my master’s thesis, I worked at SickKids Hospital for The Children’s Stroke Program, coordinating an international multi-centre study that investigated the Vascular Effects of Infection in Paediatric Stroke.
My educational background:
I received my Bachelor’s of Science, majoring in Life Science and then my Master’s of Science in Epidemiology from Queen’s University.
