Data Architect
My role with the GEMINI team:
I manage GEMINI’s database for data exploration, making sure that all the explorative processing logs and resulting data are stored and maintained in a centralized database. I also provide SME to team members and data analysts with the goal of providing cleansed data to the research team on the HPC4Health private cloud platform.
My past experience and accomplishments:
Prior to GEMIN I worked for 15 years at IQVIA (IMS) specializing in building large-scale data exchange interfaces with focus on ETL and database performance tuning. My latest project was design/built of a data warehousing/BI solution using apache Spark on AWS cloud. I also participated in 5 full cycle Siebel CRM implementation as the lead for integration legacy data into the target CRM system. I am currently pursuing the data analytics certification with UofT to further enhance my capabilities in data provisioning.
My key achievements include:

Providing SME during Kaizen sessions to improve the delivery and roll-out timelines on BI platforms

Data lead for analyzing and recovering 50 gigs of sales data from 200 local Sybase databases.

Facilitating data migration/integration lead for 5 full-cycle Oracle CRM implementation projects

Enhancing processes reducing execution time by 80% with robust database tuning

Installing and administering Informatica ETL server and the back-end Oracle database

Designing a dictionary-based interface to import and harmonize global CRM sales data
